United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) works in about 170 countries and territories, which aim to eradicate poverty, and reduce inequalities and exclusion. The UNDP helps countries to develop leadership skills, develop policies, institutional capabilities, build resilience, and partnering abilities in order to sustain development results. The UNDP uses the global sustainable development agenda as a resource to advance. In September of 2015, world leaders adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in order to protect the planet, end poverty, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. UNDP is especially focused on strengthening new frameworks for development, climate change, and disaster risk reduction.
