Our ASF community closed its 2018 Virtual Race on April 30, after 68 days of fundraising and exceeding our goal of $ 1,000,000 pesos. Students from ECC to Upper School, parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, alumni and PA united under one goal: to offer talented children the opportunity of a world class education.

Sixteen classes from the Early Childhood Center collected 580 piggy banks with their families. Lower School fundraised through the Virtual Race website, and buying ¨Dunk Paul¨ pins for $ 30 pesos during recess. Middle and Upper School students also stepped up and raised a little over $ 250,000 pesos.

Parent volunteers through the PA, the Board of Trustees the Alumni Association and the Bear Boosters all got involved with a generous spirit and did not hesitate to commit to help us reach our goal in any way. On April 27, students had the chance to dunk their teachers and even students who volunteered!

At the end of the day, the moment of truth arrived, when Mr. Paul Williams was welcomed by a cheering crowd as star of the day, ready to be dunked. Everybody clapped and clamored for Paul, as we celebrated a day of diversity among a caring and inclusive community.
