ASF Faculty Pride - University of Chicago Outstanding Teacher Award

Today, we would like to take a moment to recognize two of our faculty members!

Each year, the University of Chicago recognizes teachers with an outstanding ability to impart knowledge and a love for learning.

Newly admitted students to the Class of 2025 at the University of Chicago, one of the world’s leading institutions, are given the opportunity to commemorate educators who made a difference in their lives and intellectual journey.

This year, two of our very own Gustavo Cardenas (Physics) and Scott Munroe (Economics) have been awarded the University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award.

Thank you for your incredible work and dedication--and thank you also to all our faculty who continue to inspire and care for our students.

The ceremony will be taking place on Monday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. CDT. We will be uploading pictures of the event.
