The ASF Running Team Hits Gold!
The ASF running team traveled to Torreón from November 9 to 12, to compete against 13 other schools from all around Mexico in a variety of track events. The ASF Bears were represented by 12 runners ranging from grade 6 to grade 12, who have put in many hours and kilometers of training this fall to prepare for the events. We had a great showing and came home with a total of 19 medals (8 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze). Not only did the runners perform well on the track, but they were a wonderful support to each other and the other competitors. They represented our school wonderfully and embodied the true ASF spirit!
