The Drama Classes at ASF, under the direction of Mr. Oscar De la Rosa, have hosted a couple of showcases where the students who take part in them had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

In the Drama I classes, the students were asked to pick a scene from a movie and produce an adaptation for the stage. They were responsible for choosing their characters and giving a presentation of stage blocking and costume design. The assignment included scenes that went from romance to comedy, which allowed the students to put their skills into practice in contrasting genres.

For the Drama II and Drama Production classes, the students were divided into teams and became responsible for the production of a “work in progress”, which included not only the blocking and performance of a scene from a play of their choice, but also all the marketing and promotion material including a poster and proposals for social media posts.

The presentations took place at the FAC, where some Students and Faculty members from the US had the chance to take part in the theatrical experience.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
