Cristina Iglesias Shines at Conade 2025 Sailing Championship

Cristina Iglesias delivered an outstanding performance at the Conade 2025 National Sailing Regatta, held in challenging conditions with steady 20-knot winds. Competing against sailors up to 22 years old, Cristina not only secured 1st place among all female competitors, but also earned the gold medal in her category. She placed 4th overall, among both male and female sailors—an impressive result that speaks to her skill, focus, and determination.

This marks Cristina’s second consecutive year winning the gold female medal overall, a testament to her consistent effort and commitment to the sport. As her brother Pedro celebrated his graduation, Cristina was out on the water continuing to make waves—literally and figuratively.

Looking ahead, Cristina and her brother, Pedro ('25), will both compete in the Europa Cup in Germany this July, as they prepare for the World Championships in December.

Congratulations to Cristina and her family on this extraordinary achievement, and thank you to everyone in our community who continues to support their journey.

We wish them both smooth sailing and success in the exciting months ahead!
