ASF Student Earns 3rd Place in Global Public Speaking Competition

Alexandra Alles Viveros, Grade 11 student at ASF, recently achieved 3rd place in the world of public speaking. After winning first place in the national public speaking competition hosted by the Anglo Foundation—an event that brought together more than 200 students from 35 schools across Mexico—Alexandra earned the opportunity to represent both Mexico and ASF at the English-Speaking Union’s International Public Speaking Competition held in London, England.

This prestigious global event, hosted at the historic Royal Institution from May 12 to 16, brought together talented students from over 45 countries. Alexandra’s powerful performance secured her a place among the top six finalists, and she ultimately finished in third place worldwide. This incredible accomplishment is even more impressive considering that over 100,000 students globally competed for the chance to represent their countries.

Alexandra’s achievement reflects her hard work and the support of programs like our Debate Club. We are proud to celebrate her success representing the Bears on global stages.
