A Day of Charitable Shopping!

A Day of Charitable Shopping!

ASF was overcome by Holiday Spirit during this year’s Holiday Bazaar, where guests were able to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, pick up some tasty treats or enjoy a snack on the go! We decked the halls of ASF with goodies from local artists and crafters, including jewelry, clothing, home decor, toys, gadgets, handmade soaps, environmentally friendly products, a beautiful Christmas tree and a lounge area for visitors to rest.

This year we had 104 vendors who were 40% from our community and some of our most popular stands sold ice cream, pretzel, crepes, toys, jewelry, clothes, Christmas decorations. We also received a surprise visit from Santa Claus and had carols sung by our K2, K3 and grade 5 students.

We would like to thank the Bazaar Committee for all their hard work in putting the bazaar together, and a shout out to the sellers to our community and to Mariana Ballesteros, ASF mom who works at Blumen flower company, who generously helped us decorate the bazaar and that gave away the ASF flower bear which was on stage while our students sang Christmas carols.

Likewise, we would like to give a special shout out to Robert Wilson, Head of Athletics and Extended Learning, for lending the WEC, to the maintenance people who worked during Thanksgiving break, to the PA and moms who volunteered at the fast food box and finally, to the parents, teachers, staff and students who visited the bazaar and supported the initiative with their purchases.

We had great sponsors this year which also help us with the Endowment Fund: Starhaus, Banorte, Bright and Le Petit Spa. Thank you!

We are proud to announce that 12% of the Bazaar’s income was donated to our Financial Aid Fund, making this event a great tradition at our school!
