On Tuesday, May 23rd, LS Students from Grades 1 to 5 welcomed their parents in their homeroom for the Student-led Conferences.
Students have been preparing for a few weeks for this important day where they lead the conversation between their teacher and their parents in a reflection of their academic achievements, their academic strengths, and where they have grown this year as well as areas of opportunity they will continue to work on.
Each student-led conference lasted between 10 to 15 minutes, per conference. This is a powerful opportunity for our students to take charge of their own education by taking an introspective and honest assessment of their academic achievements and areas of opportunities in their classroom.
