In 2024, the Repentino Art and Literary Magazine proudly reached its 12th volume, marking a milestone in its journey of celebrating creativity and literary prowess. This year, the magazine's talents were recognized on a global scale as it clinched the Repentino Gold Crown award at Columbia University.
The magazine showcased collaborative creativity as each member was entrusted with the task of curating and crafting art and literary works that captured the essence of its artistic vision.
Forming a part of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the magazine underwent evaluation alongside 700 other nominated publications. From this pool of talent, 200 finalists emerged, with Repentino Art and Literary Magazine standing out among them.
The crowning moment came when Repentino was announced as a recipient of the Gold Crown award. Thrilled by their triumph, Sophia Ugalde and Kaori García, two Upper School students and standout contributors, represented their peers as they accepted the prestigious award.
