Visit the IBVA SEN18R EXHIBIT

The IBVA SEN18R EXHIBIT is the culmination of two years of experimenting and manipulating materials, techniques and concepts. On March 6, the work of students María Alanís, Regina Castro, Min Choi, Anna Cornew, Camilla Garza, Pablo Guarneros, Thalasa Kariya, Regina Patiño, Julia Saldivar, Emilia Smithies, Natalia Sotelo, Marianne Thomas, Andrea Velarde, Michelle Xu and Fernanda Zorrilla was unveiled in the lobby of the Ángeles Espinosa Yglesias Fine Arts Center.

Parents, students, teachers and staff appreciated an afternoon of arts and enjoyed small bites to eat on the upper floor, as the IBVA students read out poetry and played the ukulele. Each student was assigned an area of the gallery to showcase their art and share their vision with the audience. Themes ranged from experimental sunsets and the loss of identity, to childhood memories and political manifestos, revealing the wide range of interests and concerns that inspire our students to create unique works of art.

The exhibition will be open to the public until March 23. We encourage families and friends to drop by and support our talented students.
