The original design is from the international architecture firm Perkins Eastman. The Pre-construction process and the construction are responsibility of Beck (General Contractor).

On the corner of Observatorio and Sur 138 street. In the space that is currently occupied by the LS Field, LS Multipurpose and part of the existing LS Building.

For the 1st Phase, construction will start on January 2025 with a 25-month duration.

The design addresses the current academic needs and the ones projected for the immediate and mid-term future.

Some of the extended learning and sports activities will have to be relocated since the current space will be occupied by the construction.

The outdoor areas will be re-shaped in order to satisfy the current demand and activities.

Periodic updates will be issued by the Infrastructure Development team. Whenever the construction process allows to, scheduled walk-throughs can be planned as well.

In the 1st Phase of the construction (25 months), the existing building will still have regular operation. Only minor adjustments will be made, such as closing some access points.
The existing LS Multipurpose will be completely demolished.

Construction working schedule will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 am during school days, and all day during weekends and holidays. No major disturbances are expected.

 Yes. The LS Field will be completely closed, the ABC field space will be reduced and the access to the swimming pool will be relocated (but the swimming pool activities will not be affected). Also, the LS Multipurpose will not be available anymore.

 The construction will comply with the requirements from the government’s Environmental Agency (SEDEMA - Secretaría de Medio Ambiente) by means of the positive Environmental Impact Opinion that was granted for the project. Strategies include: waste separation and recycling, water saving fixtures, energy saving materials. ASF’s is working alongside an external consultant to ensure these measures are applied.

ASF is committed to minimizing disruptions. Construction will be planned to ensure the safety and comfort of all students and staff, and we do not anticipate any disruption to classes.
