Why is the school building a new Lower School?
The school is building a new Lower School to address the urgent need for modern, purpose-built educational facilities that align with contemporary teaching standards and the demands of 21st-century learning. The current Lower School building, constructed in 1942 and expanded in 1970, has served the community for over eight decades but now faces significant challenges due to its aging infrastructure. Despite its historical significance, a thorough analysis determined that remodeling the existing structure would be less cost-effective and practical than constructing a new facility. Addressing these challenges now is crucial to ensure ASF’s teaching spaces are able to support the latest advances in teaching methods and foster academic excellence.
