Alexandra Volin (‘92)

Was awarded the "Hermila Galindo 2022" medal in the National Congress of the United Mexican States, for her work as founder of the National Front Against Vicarious Violence in category two for defending the human rights of other women.

In addition, they have reached 22 states with Vicaria Law and they are going for the remaining 10 states. On March 8th, 2022, the Vicaria Law went to the full Senate of the Mexican Republic to be voted as a Federal Law. A unanimous vote is needed and once voted by the Federal Representatives, it will be official. It will become federal law throughout Mexico and its 32 states.

 

Andrés Pérez Maillard (‘22) 

On May 23rd, 2023 Andrés Pérez Maillard, Class of 2022 and former football player at ASF, reached the top of Mount Everest. Go Bears, keep on reaching for the top!
