The secrecy and protection of the information entrusted to The American School Foundation, A.C., (hereinafter The School) is extremely important. The School undertakes to manage personal information in a responsible manner and according to the provisions of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Information in Possession of Private Individuals and Corporations (hereinafter referred to as the “Law) and other applicable standards.

It is necessary for the school to collect certain personal information to carry out the inherent activities for its academic and institutional business line. The school has the legal and social liability of complying, with sufficient legal and security measures in place, to protect the personal information collected for the purposes described in this privacy policy.

a) Identification information: Full name, address, telephone number, cell pone and/or work phone, marital status, signature, electronic signature, taxpayer ID number, personal population identification code, place and date of birth, age, name of relatives, economic dependents and beneficiaries.

b) Professional and/or academic information: Job, position, area or department, domicile, telephone number and work e-mail address, extracurricular activities, work references, personal references, academic history, company performance history, among other.

c) Net worth information: Credit history, income and expenses, banking accounts, insurance, and services retained, personal references, among other.

Likewise, we inform that with the idea of complying with the purposes of our relationship in this notice, sensitive information may be collected and processed, including information that may reveal certain aspects including race or ethnicity, current and future health, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, union memberships, political opinions and sexual preference.

Finally, while accessing the Internet, you may disable storage of cookies (or digital files that our website transfers to the users’ computers to maintain records, allowing web servers to remember certain user information, including setting, user and password) through the systems provided in the user handbook or the browser.

  • For educational validation and accreditation, as well as to manage all the procedures required with the applicable school authorities, to have a medical file and control of medications and special health needs and to know if they are physically fit for sports.

4. Information transfer and dispatch

Your information may be transferred to subsidiaries and third parties having contractual relations with the company. For such purposes, in the applicable agreement, the SCHOOL will include the relevant obligations to guarantee that such subsidiaries and third companies have the level of personal information protection required by Law.

Similarly, In order to fulfill the above purpose(s) or any other legally required by the competent authorities, the SCHOOL will only transfer the information required by law.

5. Exercising ARCO Rights
