Sponsored by Fundación Legorreta Hernández, the Ballet Folklórico of Amalia Hernández visited our campus to present a show dedicated to the holiday season, where Christmas festivities and traditional dances from Mexico are combined.

The staging is composed of a cast of 90 artists, including dancers and musicians. It consists of three acts, beginning with the announcement of the birth of Jesus, where it is important to highlight the participation of the ballet choir. The second part is constituted by the Three Kings, showcasing traditional Mexican dances. And finally, the third act is celebrated with the song of the litany and culminates with a party composed of some of the most recognized folk dances of Jalisco.

The show is a work that has been ongoing for 11 years, and which is part of an arduous investigation by Amalia Hernández, complemented by the director. The event is a wonderful display of lights, typical costumes and live music.
