Over-60 Reunion: ASF alumni aged 60 and over, regardless of class year, are invited to a special reunion. Some info:

Where: The Marriott Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas
When: October 28 through October 30, 2011
Why: Why not? We’re not getting any younger! Our amigos and amigas will
help us remember the glory days.
What: On Friday evening, October 28, a reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. On Saturday, a visit to the Alamo, the historic Menger Hotel, a river cruise and shopping at La Villita. On Saturday evening, a reception, cash bar, buffet dinner, open mike session, humorous anecdotes, Mexican pachanga, door prizes, music and dancing. On Sunday, a Dutch treat breakfast and a bus trip to Boerne for a special dinner at the award-winning Little Gretel restaurant, owned by Jimmy Mazal (’60) and his chef wife Denise. On Monday, breakfast in the hotel, a happy Halloween and a safe trip home.

Class of 1965: The Class of '65 is planning a reunion to be held in 2012. The theme of the event is "Class of 65 turns 65." The reunion is open to all the Anglo schools which were active in 1965.  At this point, we are trying to contact alumni from all schools.  If you can assist, or for more information, please contact Nena Gottfried Wiley at CoyoteArz@aol.com.

Class of 1966: American High School Class of 1966-45th Reunion! and ’65 and ’67, and anyone else who’d like to join us!
When: October 14, 15 and 16th of 2011

Friday, October 14th, we will walk over to Casa Rio Restaurant for  lunch, take a walking-tour of  San Antonio:the Alamo, the Spanish Governor’s Palace, San Fernando Cathedral, and back in time to get ready for dinner at   La Paloma del Rio.  Cocktails at 6:00PM.
Saturday, October 15th:  We will walk over  to La Villita !  At  11:30 AM to the Riverwalk for lunch and at @ 2:00PM take the boat ride tour of the Riverwalk.  Back to freshen up at the hotel.  Cocktails will be at 6:00PM in the Minuet Room at the Menger Hotel.
Sunday, October 16th, breakfast – and, afterwards,  shopping at the Mercado for all the chucherias you might desire.  La ‘despedida’ or….. Go to Ellen’s house for some Texas BBQ.! It will be memorable! Check out our website!!!  Mike Scott put it together--http://www.ahsmexico66.org
